Musa Ghaznavi is a multidisciplinary artist from Lahore, Pakistan.

His practice currently employs a careful consideration of humanity by using newspapers as a preloaded material to consider the permeability of filtered media. His work challenges audiences to consider the embodied effects of migration, home, freedom and the constructed passage of time. By using performance, painting and design he allows himself to move freely between ideas and spaces – thus blurring the lines between mediums. He finds meaning in reconciling his interest with particular materials and questions of religious faith and economic systems.

Raised in Asia, Musa received his BA in Visual Arts & Theatre from Bennington College, Vermont and his Masters of Design in Fashion, Body & Garment from the School of the Art Institute Chicago, where he was the recipient of the New Artist Society Merit Scholarship, The Facility X Tiffany Award and The Nick Cave Award.
